Environmental graphics and Signage
Design of a cohesive environmental graphics and signage system for the Aastrika Midwifery Center that supports its mother-led birthing philosophy, communicates the rights of women during childbirth, and guides visitors clearly and calmly from entry to consultation rooms, birthing suites, amenities, and exits.

The environmental graphics for Aastrika Midwifery Center reflect its collaborative, mother-led approach to birth. The walls depict natural practices such as walking, eating, listening to music, trying different positions, the rights of women during childbirth, and support from midwives and a chosen companion.
The corridor walls are organized into pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum, creating a clear journey through each stage. As women move through these spaces during their pregnancy, they gradually absorb the content, building awareness and confidence over time. Warm, soothing colours from the Aastrika brand library create a calm, home-like setting that reduces clinical anxiety and improves comfort; the signage avoids typical hospital-style design, remains simple with aspirational materials, and the floor gently guides visitors.
