Client : INDICA

Identity

Identity design for a center that celebrates Bharatiya literature and classical texts through talks, symposiums, workshops, and festivals. They aim to engage scholars from across India's 22 official languages, promoting and publishing translations to preserve our rich cultural heritage.

The logo's form draws inspiration from the sacred peepal leaf, symbolizing a "cradle of language" where gods hold councils and gurus deliver sermons. Composed of the letter "a" in all 22 Indian languages, it resembles the delicate veins seen in a dried peepal leaf, reminiscent of its historical use as a medium for drawing and writing.
